New Eze Dope applied to all the black surfaces at about 20:1 ratio.  It went on very well and even.  I'm going to toss my old jar of Eze Dope (about 4 years old, almost gone and now kind of thick) it hasn't given me even coatings the last couple of times.

Next up is Metallic Silver Esaki trim, wind screens and landing gear fairings.

Wow. Spiral on the spinner.  Is that a challenge ha. I do think I need to start thinking about the spinner.

Progess today.  Lots of covering.  It is very Black.  I think the silver trim will really make it pop.

Friday was a big day for me.  My youngest son got married.  All the plans were cancelled until the 1 year anniversary, but June 26th they got married and we were all there via Zoom  Smiley  It really was awesome.  I just had to share.

Black tissue I've used (Easy Built) was quite opaque and did not let any balsa color show through.  With frame coloring you've added it should look fine.  Nicely built model!  I'm looking forward to that spiral on the spinner.

Anxious to see how the gray/black looks under the covering, may be just what I need to do on the next build I have coming, not black but aluminum, silver.

I have started to cover the wings.  I only cut half the tissue needed...... I forgot it was a biplane - Ha.

I also did a light airbrushing of a dark grey/black on the fuselage.   I think it will look nice when completed.  I remembered to also spray a 1/16th strip for the windshield center braces that I will install after covering.

Fun plane  Smiley

Getting in a bit late but this is truly coming together very well. Have to remind myself this is a peanut. Very nice wood work and should finish out very nicely.

Looking good.  I like the scheme you've chosen! I think you'd like the grey interior structure!

I got the fuselage front finished up, added material around the LG for tissue attachment, started the wheel pants (I'll use half a wheel in each), little things like that.  I am just about ready to start covering.

I found some nice black tissue and I will use Silver Isaki for my trim.  This will be my first black colored plane.  I'm contemplating lightly airbrushing the inner fuselage cockpit frame work a 'grey' color since it will show through the windshield and clear wing center - or I'll just let it be.

I got the nose block cut and mounted, plus landing gear and some 'other to do' items.

It looks pretty cool, but kind of a box kite  Smiley

Exciting news...... my wife actually said I can put '2' planes on the new bookshelves in our new home theater room Smiley  I only have one plane outside of my man cave room (Gee Bee Z which is on our Bar).  I have the Phantom biplane racer out as one choice and she likes it.  I need to pick one more - she didn't like the Piaggio Pc.7 - thought it was too large.

I'm loving this build.  Amazing, lots of air in that fuselage.  You've done a marvelous job keeping her straight.  I struggle with two piece wings. I know I'd be trying to figure out how to make one piece wings that would pass through the fuselage.  I'm following this one closely!!! Smiley
