Welcome Bradshak77 and son. My advice is to pick something simple and quick for your first couple of efforts. If you get frustrated at the beginning with an overweight or underpowered design, you might never come back to it. Those cheap guillows gliders are great to play with while you build your own model. But before you buy something or start to build something, ask what the community thinks about it. You can always post in the Cafe forum.

Welcome to S&T you'll find a great community of modelers here willing to share their skills and knowledge in building these wonderful models.  Please post your project with lots of pictures.  Check out the how to resize your pictures for the site 400kb max size.  Once again welcome to S&T.

I am getting back in to building after 20 years.  My Grandfather and I used to build stick and balsa planes when I was a kid.  He recently passed away so I want to start building with my son as a way to remember him.
