Welcome Matt!!   I know you will enjoy getting back into modeling.  I have.

Welcome Matt. Since it has been a long time since your last 'rubber' build, I suggest that you get a bit of advice on your first project before you buy a kit, or start gluing balsa together. We want your first attempts to be as successful as possible (= simple build & acceptable performance). We don't want you to get so frustrated that you give up.

Welcome Matt...you'll find a bunch of fellow modelers ready to assist you with this great hobby.  Feel free to ask if you have any questions.  Once again welcome to S&T and please post pictures of your projects.

Getting back into model airplanes again.  I flew RC from mid '80s to late '90s.  I also plinked around a little with a couple of rubber power models long ago (but not too successfully due to other priorities).  I also had a stint in off-road gas and on-road electric cars for maybe a summer in mid 2000's.  Now I'm ready to wade deeper into the seemingly more peaceful waters of rubber power.
