I have thinned the gorilla glue clear 50%/50% with Acetone and am awaiting the part to dry.

full strength and thinned I gluds two pieces of wood together and it is strong.

it takes longer to dry even thinned and feels like a gel when wet and there is a film when dry.

Tom could you give me a link where to purchase some Duco Cement. I went to Walmart, Home Depot and could not find any.

I'm not sure Bob, but it seems it's another Cyanoacrylic glue.  So it probably is soluable in acetone.  It has a lot of special scientific names if you look up the specs but the initial substance listed has acrylic in it.  Which tells me it a form of plastic which is usually soluable in acetone.  I'd try it on scrap wood first if you're looking to see if it can be disolved for debonding a joint etc.  I didn't see any acetone base, but as I said above it is a form of acrylic super glue.  Let us know what you find out.
