And still more...a Nieuport 28

And still another 30-plus year old model and plan...a Nieuport 28...from my glassed in display case.  This model was a revisiting of my very first Guillows model project...way back in 1957, when their Nieuport kit showed up in my local hobby shop.  It retailed for literally 5 times the ordinary Comet kits that I was constructing...a real fiscal decision for me at the time.  Alas...was all worth every penny of the price...beautiful plastic scale wheels...prop...and cowling.  Of course...I eventually realized all the shortcomings of that extra weight...but at the time, thought I'd died and gone to model airplane heaven.  Wink Grin

Model is of course...peanut scale...latex painted...intended as eye-candy for myself...just a little treat...94th Aero Squadron, Signal Corps, United States Army, AEF.
