	One final report. The narrow five-inch kit prop does not take a big bite out of the air. I made some 400 to 450 turn flights, this represented 70 to 80 % of max turns. This was because of the short length of the motor used. No thrust adjustments were made. The model climbed out straight for around 150 feet. The model could perform better with a wider prop. The model is flyable with everything supplied in the kit, and I am satisfied with that.

	The 36 inches of 1/8 rubber that came with kit got divided into four 9 inch strands. Just looking at the model I realized that the back of the stabilizer needed to come up. One back yard glide confirmed this. I cut into the 1/16 square in the stabilizer with a razor blade and bent it up. When I got it were I needed it, I tack super glued it in place. I added a little clay to the nose and bent the rudder a little. A couple of 50 turn back yard fights it went straight and level, so I went to the local park. I did some 150 hand wound flights. It did climb a little into a very light wind, stayed level going down wind. Overall not a bad start

	Well there it is. I think it came out ok. It's not the best, but not the worst.

	Thanks Howard and Sky9pilot, I added gussets to the leading and trailing edges. I have some nice laser cut ones. I also set in wash out when building, shrinking tissue, and doping. I preshrink Japanese tissue on a picture frame before I use it. I found it shrinks a lot at first. I twisted up a couple of models that way I appreciate your comments. I have learned a lot from being on a number of forums

	Another fuse picture. Landing gear is bamboo strip center piece, and 1/16 square supported by .025 wire. Wheel axle is .032 wire with 1/16 brass tube.

	Here's some fuselage pictures. The plan wants the builder to cut the preformed nose in half. Then glue the back part to the fuselage and use straight pins to hold the front half on. I decided to make a thin plywood former with 1/2 inch square key for the nose as an alterative method for holding nose plug in place. I had to make the paper cowl with trial and error, I think I got it close.

	Here's another Scale Model Fight Co. kit. It's a 18 inch model, comes with the normal stuff. Print wood, sticks, including a thin strip of bamboo, blue and white Esaki tissue, preformed 5 inch prop, rubber, prop shafts, hardwood thrust button, and preformed wheels and nose. Too bad these kits are no longer being made. Look at the bend in the upper longeron. I had to really soak it too bend it. And naturally I use too much glue.
