Thanks, Mike.  I agree...although I'd like to see it constructed as the initial V1 version.  I really like the Art-Deco look of it (probably be insulting some German to use that term).  My original effort (being held by my youngest son) had a wingspan a foot larger than this rubber-powered model.  I think someone building with greater finesse than I could really do wonders.

Another very nice build Neal!  Strikes me that this could make a very nice jumbo rubber model.

Color...the darker green is a bit of a landmark occasion...color was mixed up for my original Do217K/M from many years ago.

Topflite used to have great wooden props for glo-engines.  Eric's spot on...3-blade units are special...and just about the only way to get what you're looking for...is to create it yourself.

Even home-crafted 2-blader's are special...and fun as well.

Here's another "simple prop," this time for a rare Comet design...Captain Page's Navy Racer.

And sometimes...it's all for looks...Northrop YC-125A Raider. Smiley

Back in my rc days I remember there being many wooden props for glow engines.  I broke my share on bungled landings and take offs! Cheesy Shocked Wink

"Kit props?"  Yeh, I guess "busted props" kinda come with the hobby, don't they.

First wooden prop I recall carving found its way onto a cl model.  I did a rather hard bounce with it on the asphalt...and suddenly there was my model sitting on the ground...engine screaming!  Only after I got it shut down (in a rush) did I discover I'd been flying with my wooden prop!  So...it worked well...but proved a bit fragile.  Grin Smiley
