    I HATE computers and I HATE utube.  You have to wait for the premier time to see it, 5pm,  cant just post, it has to premier.  Spent 10 times more time online than I did building.

   I struggled with porpoising till I added a ridiculous amount of positive incidence to the tail. The last flight was much better than the rest. Wind would quit, then blow, then quit. You can see it in the last vid. The other vids shows the tail pulling the plane down. I think both wings are at -1 degree incidence right now. Crazy. Will measure and test more later. I need to rig up a wing tool and find or replace my scales. Mommas kitchen scales are better than nothing, but need at least 2 places past the decimal.
 
  Good thing is, the cap setup is PLENTY big for an embryo. I only charged 45 seconds, but can charge more and get more power. So, yea, the 6f unit from Joshua Finn is plenty to fly small planes. This one is 20 inch span and weighs about18 grams all up. Plane is around 11 grams.  They offer a bigger unit and my next plane will see how big I can go with that.  Best results are when you let it all cool down between flights. 5 minutes is fine. I will rig a better way to charge and launch and that will enable me to lighten the rig holding the cap. I lengthened the wires and moved the cap back to help balance. Might go back another 1/8 inch, just for fun. 

    I do not feel like the prop angle played as big a role in the flight as It would have with a rubber powered prop. I will do more testing on that later. As is, I guessed at about 3 down and 2 right.

    Vacation is over for me. I leave tomorrow. Now that my tools and supplies are better organized, I can get some build time in between trips. Still not sure what's next, but will probably be a sport old timer type.

Pretty sure I took at least a whole degree or more out of it. The main wing showed to have negative incidence also. Distortion in printing maybe?

added 1/8 square stick under the TE of the stab and solved the problem. Now I just need the electric wire and I can REALLY wreck it, lol.

I recovered the stab because of the warps when I used ez dope incorrectly. The warps did not go completely away after using nitrate dope. I bet the added weight and tail warp was/is the the reason for the needed reduction in incidence.  Still going to try to lighten the cap mount.

  I wasn't sure at the beginning, but it seems to be working out that way. Sorry. I did not have a whole plan when I started, lol, I just knew I had to get started. 

  I will try to glide it for balance, If the wind cooperates. I ordered some wire to extend the leads, not sure if it will arrive before I have to leave.

Weighed it on kitchen scales, the plane, without rubber or prop, is 11 grams. The power system, is 7 grams. Kinda heavy mounting system. Wish I had done different.
Live and learn. Should still be able to fly, I hope.

Got my shipment today. 2 quarts of butyrate. From Wicks Aircraft
Soon I hope to get a quart of butyrate thinner from Brodak control line supplies  It's been shipped. These guys have A LOT of cool stuff like engines and pilots. They have spoked wheel kits and jigs. You folks probly already knew that tho, I forgot.
The nitrate stuff is already here and I used it. 

  That will be enough to make at least a half gallon of butyrate and a half gallon of nitrate. I'm probly on that watch list now...lol  I think as long as people cover real aircraft with the stuff, it will always be available, if you buy enough of it. Odd that I can buy it in 5 gallon pails, but not so easy in quarts or pints. Shipping is an issue over 1 gallon.

  Also, I think I'm going to join the R/C groups forum. There's a lot of great stuff there and most folks seem pretty kind to each other. Lots of helpful info over there.
