I didn't think of that...but the motor is only like 4mm....set in thin music wire....I finalized the last part of the duct tube. Seems a slight reduction yielded a better airflow that the straight tube!


Got a micro leaf blower
Now, the trick will be to get a round body shape without adding tons of weight....

Yes!....I'm sure my little motor won't put out that much power for a hover!


Progress, and you can see the constricted tail pipe....I'm gonna try to test it today. If it's to much reduction....I will have to cheat some with a larger exit, and throw scale out the window.
Once I think the power package will push enough to keep her flying, ill button up the fuse and cover her.....test again to see if enough inlet air is ok.....then lightweight wings and tail feathers.

Here we go.....had this kit as a gift, motor and battery too!
My friends give me stuff and see what I come up with....THIS build will be a buried hot drone motor, with its prop, as you see, she's got a micro timer, and tiny 25mah battery.
The idea I have is a stiff but lite center section, where power package will be, and the wings attach there also.
Kit calls for solid tail feathers.....I believe a lighter skeleton group will be built....and attached after some tube experiments are completed.
What's got to be figured out is, will a slight choke on exit air ok? Or will a need to keep power section same diameter all the way out?
I need to keep power to weight close to make this a bird instead of hanger queen....
