Well, I would not be considering them to do it for one person. I am just a novice myself. But I can tell that Joe Wagner's Sioux model is pretty fool proof. With very little or no wind I can stay with in a 300-foot radius with a 25 to 30 second fuel run. Of course, I'm talking maybe 2 MPH at the most.  CoolThe bigger the wind the greater the drift. I even played around with a 400 series Guillow's kit with .020 power. Like this BF-109 kit

It is getting rare, but I would like to try one. A thread for the traditional gas powered units would be fun. Advice on how to start one would be great !!
Maybe you could throw us a link to some of yours?  I didn't know anybody still flew FF gas anymore.

From the start our primary focus has been rubber powered Free Flight (always capitalized) but as you have mentioned we've added boards as people have mentioned interest.  Powered Free Flight is a valid point and I'll look into adding a board for  IC (internal combustion) powered models sport or scale.

I also flew my Sioux model. I built it from a laser cut BMJR kit. I finished it in glorious white polyspan. I noticed you have a place for electric models but not gas. I guess gas models have gone the way of the dinosaur. UndecidedWell I do them, lots of fun.
