Thank you! I will change my build sequence, this little booger is a bigger challenge than I thought. It has all three axis directions in getting the base fuselage. I'll post pictures of my twists. I use titebond glue, and I think it has some 'give' to a joint...?

Along with doing by your instructions:
Maybe I should also change to a medium viscosity superglue for the base joints? And use temp x bracing until the outer longerins are in place.....

Longerons with major curves I soak in water over night. Then pull out the two longerons that are opposite each other and pin them to the plan to dry over night in warm room so the balsa will dry formed to the curve.  Once that's done I use squares to hold the sides straight vertical. Then  glue the cross members in the cabin area.  Once they're dry I pull the tail together using the same squares to hold the side in place!  If they try to buckle or twist, then spritz with water as it's pinned in place to relax the balsa as it's pinned straight and let it dry that way.  This curving often happens because the longerons are of a different stiffness or grain.  It's important to check them before you start building by flexing them and comparing them to each other.

Two longerons cut from the same balsa sheet can be completely different because of the way the sheet was cut in the beginning so just because it's from the same sheet it won't necessarily be the same in stiffness and flexibility.

Interesting side window arrangement.  You're making good progress.  I look forward to seeing more progress!

I wish I could build like you...this second frame I'm working on, is getting a tad warped. Can't figgure what I'm doing wrong...I start with glueing tail posts together, working my way forward.....still, not a perfect alignment.
I'm about ready to do her with laminated bottom curve instead of pulling that bellie curve.....?

My 1st try on this fuselage ended in a warped, and weak frame. Trash can.
This is the second attempt. I'm using my blocks to hold her, I will take it in steps this time. Bottom cross braces, let glue dry, then upper, let glue dry, then the internal corner braces. I will have to somehow square the front, that belly curve is tuff to keep square...
I'm shooting for the tri gear version, that front gear with the little mudguard is just 'the bomb' Cheesy
My hands aren't as steady, but want to put some details on her...

It's almost a Reese wing, you place 1/16" down, then the spar on top, then the ribs....

Interesting rib arrangement. So does the main spar just sit on top of the lower rib pieces, then build top of rib over that?
Or is the main spar notched?

VERY nice kit...laser cuts are perfect and fit precisely. Nice wood. Eric numbered all the ribs, and I didn't check him, couple of ribs with wrong numbers, easy fix tho....
So if you get this kit, make sure ribs are identified correctly...R4 and R6 need to go in the correct place. Also, watch your center section...easy to glue the wrong joints before your dihedral is in place. Huh

This is the Dumas laser cut kit, 30" . When we were cleaning Eric Cluttons house, this was stuck back in a cubby hole, box has been thru about 2 world wars, but amazingly, seems all the pieces are there. She seems to be light wood, and look at those rib design...almost a 'Dave Reese' type!
Any ways, to give a tribute to our dear lost friend, I'll build as is factory, 2 channel, electric version. 30yr ago, I would put a 020 with throttle sleeve, but now they scarce a priced outta the hobby range.
Tissue covered when done building, and I TRY to get it wrinkle free...after 50yr, I'm still trying  Tongue
