Dave,

Thanks much!  Here's a reduced image of the plan I have.  It's marked as kit L8 but the parts match up with your printwood scan.

I PM'd you my email address - if you have a higher resolution file of the scan image could you send it to me?

Thanks again,

Mike

Mike,
Yes I do. However the scans cut off the tips of a few ribs and other parts but their opposites are intact and located on either the same sheet or another sheet. Scan below.

I've just completed restoration on this models younger brother kit L9 with the 37" wingspan. But I'm sure the 3504 is better although similar on design layout. Has anyone got one of these to fly?

Dave

Dave, do you have scans of the print wood for the L9 kit?  I got an original plan for it a few years ago and scanned it but don't have the parts sheets - if you've got them we could complete the listings on HPA and OZ.

I've also had that kit since the late 60's when it was relatively cheap. Originally I wanted to modify the wing, and fly it as C/L with twin 049's. But university intervened. I heard that there isn't enough clearance in the fuselage for rubber. It might better lend itself to electric FF. I was thinking that a couple of formers of 1/32 ply would carry the loads of the wing spars if you wanted to fly it with rubber and have more clearance.

If any one can fly it you can!  You got the skills for sure.
Only trick I know about p-38 is keep an eye on weight. Both Fuselages need to weigh the same or its hard to trim.
Best of luck to ya' .

I just got this from a good friend....I've always wanted to build one, now I have it to challenge me! Could be rubber, or a twin electric, free flight?....I definitely will enjoy this!
I make a build thread.....
