All sounds acceptable to me. Just may take the first month to find one that strikes my fancy...

Alright Bob...Keith Ryder of some sort, I see!

Let me just say we are not limiting these builds to one particular size, designer or company.  Any Race Plane from any source will be acceptable!  Especially Keith Ryder!  Grin Cheesy Wink Cool

Ok....with Pete, we have a Race Planes Cook Up.  Start date will be one week from today, February 1st, 2015 and I suggest an end date of April 30th, 2015.  Three full months! To select, construct and cover and finally weather permitting fly a Race Plane of our choice!

Does this time line fit with everyone?

I put in my official vote just now.  I'll finish up my D.VII before "starting" the Delgado - getting some of the final paint on the struts prior to gluing the landing gear on.

I'll post the main build of the peanut Delgado in my Peanut thread with general updates in the racer thread.  If I get to the dimer, it'll go into the racer thread.

No dates at set yet.  Most cook ups need five committed to the cook up to start.  I'm really thinking we set a firm end date as well.  A couple months, three at most!

I see we have what looks like 4 committed modelers, so one more and we're on!  The pole ends in 27 days.  that should give those still wrapped up in other builds to finish or get close to finished on other projects.  I know some guys don't mind having projects in boxes stored away.  I tend to want to finish before moving on to something else, unless I completely lose the mojo on a project!

So we wait for one more participant and the close of the pole, which ever comes first!

Is there a planned or tentative start date, or still too early for that? For me, the number of appealing racers is pretty limited and the ones that do appeal may take a while for me to make them come together. But yes, I'm in.

Since I am already in the set-up process to build a racer (or two), I guess I'm "in".  Probably will do the Sterner Delgado pseudo-dimer that Bob sent me as the #2, or Bernard Guest's pseudo-dime CHAMBERMAID.

Decisions, decisions... Undecided

This is to determine the interest or not in starting an Air Racing Cook Up.  This will include all Air Racers from the first planes raced to any and all categories of past & current Air Racers.
