The Tin Man of OZ.  Who would've thought of that as a pilot.  That takes great imagination.  What was so good about your build thread, you kept the true nature of the pilot a secret until the last moment.  Great entertainment for all.

Great job!

Lincoln Beachey indeed. An aerobatic innovator and an airplane that didn't look like it could do any of his stunts and since your hands are already familiar with this miniature stuff, why not. Not sure if there are any plans out there but a bit of drafting and onward.

Outstandingly impressive, Mark!  You've got a true work of art!  In fact...it deserves to be on public display!!!

Now...the ghost of Lincoln Beachey is standing behind  you...wanting you to build his historic aircraft!  Smiley

NOW it's done. Oh yah, it's a Russian made OX5. When they copied the prints they came out backwards. Neat because they turn the opposite direction. Didn't have to make a special prop. Wink

Agreed, absolutely outstanding. So glad you brought to the display section, don't think I could watch any trim flights.

Thanks Neal, made a F100 out of silvered paper. About a 13" wing. Glued a penny in the nose, got 150' glide.

Pilot finished, controls being hooked up. AND, oh ya, now a prop.........

Meant to say...nice job on the paper Fokker as well as "doll," Mark.  Anyone who's never tried to assemble a paper model needs to give it a try...just to discover their frustration level.... Wink Cheesy Grin Smiley  Looks terrific!

Thanks Skye, they are like mast "Experimental " aircraft of today, no two are a like.( That's what sucks about Experimental aircraft).
Got more rigging done and ailerons installed. Tin Man is taking shape.

Huey,

You're doing outstanding work.  I believe if you Google on the Internet, you should find some good photos and drawings of rigging the Pusher along with the pulleys used.

Outstanding, Mark!  Did you achieve all this skill from playing with paper-dolls?  Wink Cheesy Grin

Seriously...really great looking pilot!

Hi John, no. The only thing the plans showed are some of the wing rigging. I've been searching the internet and reviewing pictures to find the control cables. I think I'd have some issues trying to fly this with the way the controls are arranged.

Feet, one hand, control wheel and control pulleys. Oh yah, the funnel hat.
