More details on the motor accomplished today....the dash is complete.....but 1st:

the sides of the cockpit need staining.
wing supports installed front and back.
joystick and seat made and installed.
scale prop made.
tissue covering the fuse and tail...he wants to copy the one hanging in the museum...red fuse, white wings.
landing gear made and installed.
install the prop.

Kain,

Congratulations on choosing an unusual subject to model.  I'll be following your build with interest.  Thank you

Just a suggestion for next build:  You can also use 1/32" plywood for the fuselage.  The ply is more flexible and also more durable as well as light weight.

I think this is one timmer build....I like golden age racers and war birds....homebuilts are ok, just not my cup o tea....I didn’t think about ply....it would of been easier.....heck, makeing it outta 1/4” plate may of been easier!!! Undecided

This was a rubber plan...details are along the lines of a English early build. I think the wingspan would make a doable flyer....but a person would have to build a lighter fuse...this one is 1/16 sheet....and is a tank!...I had to make a complete fuse clamp to bend the sheets to that smooth curve to the tail.....I boiled the first set.....nope...trash them...do it dry this time....and use gorilla glue!
Anyways....I’ll post pictures as we go.....

Ah, the infamous Pou d'Ciel!  This will be great to observe. Here's a link you may find informative and pleasurable.
