	I changed the motor out to a geared 4x8mm and a bigger prop. Put everything back together and shelved her for a 'later' flight test... Well, this past weekend found her at SMALLS out in Arkansas with Johnathan. Perfect weather allowed him to charge the Peterborough timer for its minute run, she flew a slow left hand circle and gained about 30'...then the motor cut off and she went into a right hand circle to land There were 2children that build and fly their own ships there...and he said they were all excited about the Spook....so it has a new good home! 	Thanks Tom...I got to thinking, and balanced that big wing, 2 straight pins to the starboard tip I hope my 2 10mah batteries get here soon...I will wire them up with a pigtail, to get 6v to that teeny can motor. I'm looking for at least 1 min flight........ Try try again!

	We had just a short trimming session the evening...no wind, kinda chilly tho.... I believe she is trimmed ok, I just have forgot how to launch a little plane....so got stalls, then the dive to the ground. She can take a yard dart landing very well ...did about 4 n a row. And where I fly, the folks have mowed the grass to 1/2" to the dirt 10 acres and it's bald.....anyways, I got one last fair flight in, I also honk she needs more power.....I may just get a small 2s battery and try it.... 	That's a little direct drive motor, that prop is a press fit. One day I'll get savvy enuff to build elevators and rudders out of air... She won't need much noseweight....the tires are gonna help, as I pushed them a tad forward.....and I can use some small metal pieces for that fake motor..... I'd like to build another using depron and see what a little geared motor, with actuators for rudder would weigh.... But I'll need the gubment to poop out some money, as I'm semi- retired....read that as On a budget Marc

	That's often the challenge of these short nose models. Do you have a heavy washer you can use to mount the prop with? Keeps the weight at the extreme nose moment. Of course a bit of clay or lead in the cowling will work as well. Sky9pilot

	Here's the fuse beginning to be made, 1/16" ....I'll use the same technique on the fuse as I did the wings...kinda weighty but strong, I don't think if she flies, I'll need a dethermalizer! Marc

	Going for a small FF spook, I will build lightly, and use tissue covering, a mitisibishi motor, with a Peterborough timer, a 70mah batt. Here's a starter picture....gonna do those beautiful gull wings 1st And we've been doing laminated wing tips the HARD WAY.....take your razor plane, stand the sheet or stick balsa, and set your depth just right.....plane a nice curly que off.....and laminate these around the form!!!
