Tom , that is one sharp looking plane! I can't believe how well it turned out. You and Mitch both took  what looked like an impossibility and made it look easy. Very NICE!!

Great job, Tom. Now if it only flies as good as it looks.   Cheesy

Sure it's a wrinkly mess, but it flies.

Finally got over the building blahs.... So here's the finished Moonbat in fantasy "D" day scheme.  Still have to set the pitch on the prop blades.  Hopefully in the air soon.

Mitch...love the blues!  I also like the kangaroos!  This one may be hard to see against a blue sky! Smiley

Well Done.  I've got to get busy and finish up my Moonbat!

G'day all;

Finally got my Moonbat ready to fly!! I thought it would never get there!! It still needs panel lines & exhaust ports (oh, & landing gear) but that wont take long. Time for a few test glides in the bedroom & then wait for the weather to be nice to me. (Yeah, yeah I know the markings are totally wrong....!)

Please don't wait for me, could be a long time, my build speed has plummeted since I escaped unemployment.  The Bearcat still has a way to go and I am unlikely to start another a/c until it is finished.

Well, l have pulled out my Martin Maryland and l need some sick individuals to join in when it is time Grin.

Tom: great job on a difficult project.

Ambraske: l would love to have you and everyone to participate in a twin cookup and it does not need to be a scale.]

@Mitch: l know your abilities are producing a great Moonbat and cannot wait to see yours Wink inflight.

@Terry: l wish not to start another cookup until you have had a chance to build your Moonbat. l know with Tom's, Mitch's, and my misbuild you will have fun or nightmare Cheesy with yours.

Until then l will just build any plan that comes into reach and maybe some day Sad the weather will let me go fly Cry

Haven't seen the Dumas kit...Ambraske.  If we get the twin cookup going maybe that would be incentive to build that kit!

I do not remember who stated that they may build the F7F, I've been going through the threads and had thought that either Terry or Mitch did but my memory does not work so good now Cheesy

Bob

cdwebb and I discussed building the F7F Tigercat here, starting from the 1st post on the subject and woven into several replies.  We identified a few plans and David offered up a plan he purchased.  I might still consider building but currently have a way to go on the Bearcat.
